C'est ça que j'adore

Since I was a little girl I have always secretly wanted a dress like this, with a full skirt to bounce around me everytime I danced, or walked or twirled. Besides, I dare you to walk down the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, and look at yourself in one of the mirrors and not pretend that you have one!

Do you think this Dior gown is too much for a wedding?? I love it!! Oh! And in case the model's face looks kind of familiar to you but you can't quite place her... it's Emily Blunt: Emily from The Devil wears Prada!

The ladder of success

When you walk up the ladder of success,
don't let the boys look up your dress.

A childhood friend of mine wrote this in my sign book (the 1996 paper version of Facebook) and I it's the first thing that came to mind when I saw this pic. This, and a little undercover promotion that has me extatic, anxious and happy all at once :)

Fat girls tea time

Looking at this picture reminded me of our Fat girls tea party: a long standing tradition among my friends: we all get together at someone's house on a weekend afternoon and we have to contribute a baked -if home baked even better- all-fattening item.

It's too bad I recently started a diet I'm seeing NO results from... looks like I'm going to have to do a whole lot of jogging to actually get anywhere... seriously, how do people do this? How does one stay focused on a routine and a specific diet, when all you're brain is yelling (in a very Homer Simpson sort-of-way) "Mmmm.... chocolate cake!!"

Girls! We haven't had a Fat girls tea party in a while!! When's the next one??

Miss Conservative

Moi?  C o n s e r v a t i v e ? ? You must be thinking of somebody else... ;)

I love this (click on image to be even more amazed). Do you think I can pull off those glasses??

Today you just get this awesome photo (via Sabino) 'cause I'm off for the day on a business trip. Have a great Wednesday!

Bridal blogs, acceptable wedding favours and inspiration boards...

A certain bird shouldn't have told a certain someone so bluntly and matter-of-factly about anybody's upcoming wedding a few weeks ago, 'cause now that certain someone is absolutely pannicked, and suddenly obsessed with bridal blogs, acceptable wedding favours and inspiration boards...

Not, in any way, cool! Oh, and btw, don't press... 'cause I'm not giving away any names!!

The cigarrette

Okay, so I really, reaaally don't like cigs... but I just love this photo! It's the front cover for the July issue of D-Mode magazine (published in Buenos Aires). I think this portrait is amazing! The light, the focused face and the out-of-focus hair... I just had to post it!
